Pirate Leadership Conference
Pirate Leadership Conference: Values, Voice, and Vision
The Student Life & Leadership Department invites all students to the Pirate Leadership Conference on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the College Center Ballrooms & Student Union.
This year’s theme, Values, Voice, and Vision, focuses on helping student leaders grow through interactive workshops on topics such as conflict resolution, identity in leadership, and leadership philosophies.
The conference will feature Councilmember Betty Martinez Franco as the keynote speaker. A longtime Irvine resident, entrepreneur, and the first Latina and first Mexican immigrant elected to the Irvine City Council, her story of perseverance and purpose serves as a powerful example of leadership in action.
Don’t miss this opportunity to build your leadership skills, strengthen your resume, and connect with peers across campus.
