My Course Recommendations

You have access to first-level transfer courses in English, ESL, and math, and you receive a recommendation on the level of support needed in order to succeed in the transfer course. The course recommendation is based on English & Math Placement Rules

STARTING ABOVE ¹ó±õ¸é³§°Õ-³¢·¡³Õ·¡³¢Ìý°Õ¸é´¡±·³§¹ó·¡¸éÌý°ä°¿±«¸é³§·¡³§

You can start above first-level transfer courses by completing a prerequisite clearance request and submitting one of the following

High School Transcript

Math: Your math course selection is based on your intended program of study and your high school coursework. See the Placement Rules for Math for more information.

Chemistry: You can clear the prerequisite for CHEM A180 by completing high school chemistry (2 semesters) and receiving a B or higher.

 

AP Test Score(s)

English: A score of "3" or above on the AP English Literature or English Language and Composition exam will allow students to register for English A101: Critical Thinking/Reading/Writing Lit.

Math: A score of "3" or above on the AP Calculus AB will allow students to register for Math A185: Calculus 2. A score of 3 or 4 on the Calculus BC exam will allow students to register for Math A185: Calculus 2. A score of 5 on the Calculus BC exam will allow students to register for Math A280: Calculus 3 or a higher math course.

 

College Transcript(s)

Successful completion of English or math transfer-level courses from an accredited college or university that is considered equivalent at 91Å®Éñ with a "C" or better.
